Silk is a natural fiber that is air permeable, and due to the content of 18 varieties of amino acid, it naturally absorbs humidity. Silk is fungi immune and does not contain harmful trace chemicals. It is therefore resistant to mold and deterioration. Silk contains Sericin, an anti-acrid property that prevents the growth of mites and mold, making it the best choice for skin allergies. Silk does not conduct heat or static electricity; heat is retained during cold air temperatures and redundant heat is shed during summer temperatures (keeping your baby cool). Silk filled duvets are comfortable over a wide range of conditions. Your baby maintains his/her natural temperature. CareNatural silk is washable. We recommend however, that this be done by a professional Dry Cleaner to ensure longevity. If you wish, your Duvet may be washed on delicate cycle with cold water and a mild detergent. Dry on a cool setting on the delicate cycle, or simply air fluff. Silk is currently only available for Toddler Duvets. |
